How can I help?

Volunteers are needed in multiple capacities:

• Financial Mentors - Individuals who have experience in managing finances effectively are needed to meet with loan applicants about once a month to provide information, advice and referrals.  Financial mentors also work with loan applicants to complete the budget, the timeline for paying the loans back, and the loan application. Financial Mentor training is offered throughout the Diocese several times per year.

• St. Vincent de Paul Members – Members who perform home visits help to identify individuals who need loans.  We also need Saint Vincent de Paul members to assist in other aspects of the program, such as media, marketing, organizing microloan programs in additional counties, and fundraising.
