Franklin County First Step is a critical event for all returning citizens to Franklin County. First Step has a range of service providers present in one location to provide immediate services, schedule appointments, complete applications, provide help and support. Services include various employment readiness programs, child support, BMV, healthcare, education, food stamps, housing, and a number of other programs that many returning citizens need.

First Step is on the First Friday of each Month from 10 AM to 12:30 PM at 1111 East Broad Street. Free parking is available in the lot behind the building. Please enter the Job Center/Ohio Means Jobs at the rear of the building and follow the signs up the stairs. Volunteers can arrive by 9:30 am.
