Bridges out of Poverty

Nationally acclaimed Bridges Out of Poverty is a training class to understand the dynamics that both cause poverty and maintain poverty.  Bridges Out of Poverty uses the lens of economic class and provides tools and strategies for a community to build a bridge to alleviate poverty.  The desired result is a community strengthened by an understanding of the economic classes which leads to a productive use of their resources.  The one-day training consists of seven DVD's mixed with shared discussions on topics:

       Mental models of poverty, middle class, wealthy              Causes of poverty

       Key points of Bridges constructs                                             Family structures

       Hidden rules of economic class                                               Building resources

       Role of language and story among classes
